Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using HomePlanner: AI Room Design (also published as "HomePlanner - Design Your Home"; the "App" or the "Service"), operated by Fırat Onurcan Polat ("I," "we," "us"). By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Accounts

Some features need an account, created with Sign in with Apple or an email address and managed through Supabase Authentication. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials safe and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use of your account. You can delete your account at any time in the App's Settings.

2. Your content

You are responsible for the photos, prompts, floor plans, scans, projects and other material you add to the App ("User Content"), and you confirm that you have the right to use it. Only upload photos of spaces you are allowed to photograph, and do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that shows other people without their consent.

You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display it only to operate the Service for you, for example to generate designs, save and sync projects and create the exports you request.

3. AI processing and AI results

When you request an AI design, the selected image and your choices are sent to an AI-processing provider (currently OpenAI or fal.ai) to create the result, as described in our Privacy Policy.

AI results are visual ideas generated automatically. They can contain inaccuracies, invented details, or furniture and materials that are not available. They are not architectural, engineering, construction, safety or financial advice. Dimensions, measurements, scans and cost estimates in the App are approximate. Check measurements yourself and consult a qualified professional before building, renovating or buying. For children's rooms and nurseries, follow your local official safety guidance.

4. HomePlanner Pro subscriptions

The App offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("HomePlanner Pro"), currently weekly, monthly and yearly, sold only through Apple's App Store. The price and billing period for your country are shown in the App before you buy. Introductory or promotional offers may be available from time to time under the terms shown at purchase.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings (Settings > your name > Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.

5. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple, and we cannot issue refunds directly. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. Third-party services

The App relies on service providers, including Apple (distribution and payments), Supabase (accounts, database, storage and backend functions), RevenueCat (subscription management) and OpenAI and fal.ai (AI processing). Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any illegal purpose or to create or store infringing, unlawful or harmful material;
  • try to reverse-engineer the App, bypass usage limits or security measures, or access the Service by automated means;
  • interfere with the normal operation of the App's servers or infrastructure;
  • resell or redistribute the Service without permission.

8. Intellectual property

The App and its original content, features and functionality (excluding your User Content), including the design, code, styles and planning tools, belong to Fırat Onurcan Polat and are protected by copyright and other laws. Subject to these Terms and any applicable subscription, you may use the designs you create with the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes and share them.

9. Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your Apple Account settings.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI results, measurements or estimates will be accurate. To the extent permitted by law, Fırat Onurcan Polat is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including design decisions, purchases made on the basis of AI results, or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

11. Apple

These Terms are between you and Fırat Onurcan Polat, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement; if anything in these Terms conflicts with it, the more protective terms for you apply where the law requires. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory law of your country of residence applies.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
